The (not so) Average Jane Retreat
Serving Female Combat Veterans
The Vision
Imagine a sanctuary where stories of resilience intertwine, healing unfolds, and understanding grows. The (not so) Average Jane Retreat emerges as a haven for those who have served, specifically addressing the challenges faced by female combat veterans. It’s a groundbreaking initiative born from the collective narratives shared on the impactful “(not so) Average Jane” podcast.
Holistic Healing
Set against the backdrop of Montana’s pristine nature, this retreat goes beyond conventional therapies. Equine therapy, holistic practices, music, art, meditation—all converge to provide a holistic approach to healing. It’s a space where invisible scars are acknowledged, addressed, and mended with care.
Feminine Self-Care
Recognizing the unique struggles faced by female combat veterans, the retreat incorporates elements of self-care and education for women. Seemingly simple acts become powerful tools for rediscovering femininity and identity in the aftermath of military service.
Building a Supportive Community
At its core, the retreat is a catalyst for fostering a supportive community. Family-style meals, outdoor activities, and communal experiences create bonds that endure beyond the retreat itself. It’s about building lasting connections and making a tangible difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed for their country.
